Khas Khas herb

This is a thick, perennial grass, which have been pleasant-smelling roots. The root of khas-khas is used for its aromatic and digestive properties. It is good cure for vomiting, fever and excessive perspiration. The fine powder of khas-khas is rubbed over the body and left on for fifteen minutes before a bath. This can also be done in the case of measles to sooth the rashes. Steaming the body with water to which khas-khas has been added, makes one sweat and brings the temperature down. Water boiled with khas-khas can be had as a drink to bring down fever. Water boiled in coriander seeds and khas-khas is an excellent remedy for vomiting and nausea.
