Figs (Anjeer) are a rich source of iron, calcium and copper. They also contain, zinc, Vitamin A and C. Vitamin B complex and Vitamin D. Figs are a good cure for anaemia, hyperacidity, ulcers and worm infections. Figs are highly nutritive and help build body resistance. Boil the bark of fig in water along with neem, mango and peepal barks. This decoction washes and soothes ulcers caused by burns.
