Ayurveda plans to incorporate and balance the body, mind, and spirit (thus, some sight it as "holistic"). Ayurveda also has some basic values about the body's formation. It comprises many types of therapies and is used for many health issues. It is known to promote positive health, natural beauty and long life

Herbs

Ayurvedic Herbs are a very good way for treatment in Ayurveda.

In Ayurveda, herbs, metals, massage, and other products and methods are used with the intent of cleansing the body and maintaining balance. Herbs are obtainable in the form of tinctures, teas or extracts. Herbs play a big role in Ayurveda like meditation. Ayurveda places great importance on prevention and persuades maintaining health by paying close attention to balance in one's life through right thinking, diet, lifestyle and herbs.

Herbs planted in elevated beds in a formal herb garden. Herbs can be made in a range of forms depending on their functions. Herbs must appear fresh and clean, be free of ailment, not discolored or damaged. Herbs are dry when they disintegrate, and stems break when twisted. The patient may take herbs often with honey, with the aim to develop digestion, reduce fever, and cure diarrhea. Most Ayurvedic medicines consist of combinations of herbs and other medicines, so it can be difficult to know which ones are having an effect and why.
