The diet rich in silica, iron and calcium may help in this situation. It prevents hair from falling. This may include green and leafy vegetables, raw oats, dried fruits, cherry juice and beets are good for the same.
Adding coconut in various forms in diet like coconut oil, chutney and milk is very useful preventing hair loss. High fat, meat based diet raises testosterone hormonal levels in males and that badly affect hair follicles. A person who is anemic is prone to have this problem so including iron-rich foods like beetroots, eggs, dates and raisins may help.
Certain foods are to be included like brown rice, oats, root vegetables like carrots, gingers and onions. Winter squash, black beans, pumpkin, black pepper, beans are beneficial. Whole grains, nuts and seeds and green vegetables are indeed helpful.
