Proteins should be taken in the form of vegetables as non-vegetarian food is prohibited under Ayurveda. It also advises against tea, coffee and sodas, and a person should not take chilled drinks. As you can guess, smoking and alcohol has no place in Ayurveda diet. The food should be moderate in spices and oil.
