For quite a lot of women, second pregnancy becomes a little easier due to their experience with the first one. Though this is not necessary. Many women get so scared after their first pregnancy that they take a lot of time to be ready for another one.

Physical fitness is not just meant by accumulating layers fat on your body and thinking that your body is strong enough to carry a baby. It is about your inherent strength, immune system and ability to respond positively toward any change. So, your physical, mental and emotional well being is what that matters the most.

Needless to say that you are not supposed to think of another child before a gap of at least two years from the first one. A second pregnancy would just be seen as an accident wherein you could not practice restraint or use proper contraceptive measures. Remember that such pregnancy not only affects yourself but also the upbringing of both the children.

It is advisable to follow discipline and adopt measures to rule out chances of pregnancy before the above-mentioned period.

Another significant aspect of second pregnancy is your financial state. Many couples do not pay much heed to this aspect because of their emotional desires for the second child and thus jump on to the conclusion. It is always good to work out a systematic financial plan in which you realistically list out all expenses and sources of income to support your expanded family.

Do not encompass presumptions on your future sources of income at this moment. It is better to have buffer than to fall prey to presumptions that may keep changing with many associated factors.
