Avoiding Neck Pain During Winters

It happens quite often – you wake up in the morning and you feel pain in your neck or back or both. This incidence becomes more common during winter season, and there are some causes attached to it. The other way to avoid neck pain during winters is to keep your neck muscles flex and warm. Take a bath with warm water and consider applying some mustard oil on your body. This oil works wonders in winter season, and provides good strength to your muscles. Apply it around back, neck, legs, more specifically.

    I find alot of people are a little more stiff or have achey joint pain more often in the colder months. The weather, and moisture definitely plays a role too. I know multiple people who seem to get more neck pain or related symptoms, not just in the cold but when it’s raining or a storm is coming. A good neck pillow when sleeping works the best and I’ve also recently found people to have good results with accupuncture treatments.

    People may also get neck pain after sleeping with their neck in an awkward position. Just as your finger knuckle would hurt if bent backwards for too long, so too will your neck joints hurt if they are squashed for too long.
