Avoiding Piles




Piles is a very troublesome disease, especially when it reaches its advanced stages. There are very little options available for its treatment and you often do not have any problems except going for painful surgery, which also may not provide you a permanent solution for this disease. It may redevelop after some time and again you will come back to square one.

It is always advisable to control this disease during its early stages and you can always prevent it from taking a dreadful shape. At this stage, there are a number of options available for you but you need to be proactive and careful. Ignoring this disease at the initial stages can prove to be troublesome for you at the later stages, and therefore you should be attentive from the beginning.

During the initial stage, you can also go for alternate therapies such as yoga and ayurveda. They provide you with enough of relief and you do not have to take too many allopathic medicines. Piles is mostly caused due to unhealthy lifestyle and diet. If you take care of these aspects, then you can handle and even rule out the chances of piles to a large extent.

Certainly, you would like to know the lifestyle changes you are supposed to make in your daily life. Well, it is advisable that you do not stick to your chair for long hours. Today, there are jobs such as those in information technology (IT) and IT enables services that are mostly sedentary in nature and you do not have to move around much during the day. Therefore, you just stick to your chair from morning to evening and this becomes the reason of piles many times.

Therefore, you should take a break of 10-15 minutes in every 3-4 hours of work, and take a brisk walk in the office campus.

The same applies to diet as well. Take a diet rich in fibres and for this you can eat pulses, beans, cereals and fruits such as apple. This will prevent digestion relation problems, including constipation that can also become a reason for piles many times.
