Back pain has become a part of our life these days. You ask anyone about it and there are all the chances that person would be suffering from back pain. Very clearly, it is our lifestyle that has paved way for many such ailments and back pain is, of course, on of those problems. There are people who develop back pain over a period of time and there are some, who get it because of some injury.

Both the cases are very different in nature and they require different types of treatment procedures. In the case of back pain caused due to unhealthy lifestyle, you can practice some exercises for treating back pain. This may not be the case for people who have been suffering from back pain due to some sort of injury.

Most of the times, it is up to us, to prevent back pain. For instance, most people suffer from back pain because their posture is bad. They follow a sedentary lifestyle and stick on their office chair for several days. These things can be easily avoided but then who cares. No one takes preventive measures and wait till the time, when things go out of control.

As far as injuries are concerned, some may be caused accidentally. However, do your best to avoid injuries caused due to your own negligence. Do not ever lift very heavy object suddenly. If necessary, take a posture that bends your knees first and then gradually let you lift the object. Do not lift it with complete falling on your waist.

Over exertion and stress is also amongst the major causes of back pain nowadays. You can avoid back pain by reducing the level of stress in your life. On the dietary side, you should take more vitamins. This includes all types of vitamins. Rest is also very important for you. Taking sleep for a good number of hours helps in avoiding and treating back pain to a great extent. You can also do oil massage, in order to prevent and treat back pain
