In most cases, acne is caused by excessive production of oil over the skin. Therefore the first step to root out this problem is to control the amount of oil coming on to your skin.

For this you need to take some neem leaves, crush them fine, and then mix the powder with very little amount of water. Once this paste is ready, you can apply it on the acne affected area and the entire face.

Here you have to ensure that you do not rub this paste on to your skin at any cost. Neem has properties that do not require any rubbing or scrubbing. You can say that it is a natural scrubber. Once, you feel that the paste is sufficiently dried up, you can wash it off from your face.

You can prepare neem powder in one go and store it for the next one to two months but do not go beyond this period. Also, you might feel a slight burning sensation on your skin due to the acidic properties of neem, but that is good. After all, it is natural bleach.

Do not overdo it. Apply it only once in a day and it is advisable that you do it on alternate days. The effects will be far reaching and enhance the overall quality of your skin.
