Aging is a natural process which involves physical change over a period of time. However, aging do happen in unnatural ways as well which we call us a premature aging. Premature aging happens because of the external factors like lifestyle habits, stress and pollution etc. There are some ways which if a person adopts in his/her routine can really slow down the skin aging process and hence, can keep skin problems away to a large extent.
Studies have shown that too much exposure to direct sun light can really lead to many skin issues. This happens because of the fact that ultraviolet rays present in the sun can break down the collagen and elastin present in the skin which reduces the ability of the skin to repair itself on regular basis.
This results into development of wrinkles and skin turns dry and rough. It has a long lasting effect on the person’s appearance as well. In the extreme case, it may even lead to skin cancer.
Lack of proper sleep is another factor affecting the skin health e.g. we very commonly see the dark circles around the eyes of people who might not have been able to sleep at all or could not sleep well. Not getting the enough required sleep makes the person more tired and exhausted and hence, it gets reflected on the skin as well.
Stress is another factor affecting the skin in an adverse manner. This is also because of the reason that when a person is stressed, then he/she may have tendency to express the feelings by gestures such as pulling the skin, tapping the face etc and all this in quite repetitive manner which may damage the skin temporarily or even permanently.
An Oil is an integral part of skin and is very essential for the proper skin growth and keep it healthy. However, situations like cold winds and very low temperature areas may make the skin dry and skin may lose its required oil content. This may result into faster premature aging process for the skin and skin may start developing wrinkles and may lose its good looks.
