Beautiful hair adds to beauty. Most of us are very concerned about our hair. During winter the cold and harsh weather affects our hair badly. Harsh weather conditions damage our hair and make them breakage prone. Caring for our hair in winter is not difficult if a proper hair care routine is followed.

To avoid dryness of skin make sure you do not shampoo more often. Frequent use of shampoo can make your hair drier and more damage prone. If you need to wash your hair often then you can use dry shampoo or baby powder. Sprinkle it in your hair and comb. This will clean your hair without making it dry.

While combing your hair spray a small amount of hair spray on your comb. Then gently brush your hair from top to bottom. This will moisturize your hair. Avoid too much brushing as it can deprive roots of hair from oil.

Try to avoid hair dryer in winters. At least do not over use it. Over use of dryer makes your hair rough and dry. This can easily lead to damage and breakage. Curling irons are also harmful for your hair in winters, as heat damages your already dry hair. So limit the use of curling irons also.

While shampooing your hair make sure you do that with cold or Luke warm water. Never use hot water as it damages your hair badly. Also make sure you do not wash your hair with water having higher chlorine presence. This can make your hair dry and rough.

Do not go out with wet hair as it can freeze in cold and make your hair entangled and lead to breakage. While going out make sure that your hair has been covered with a scarf or some other cloth. This will protect your hair from the harsh and cold weather outside.

To save your hair from damage use conditioner almost daily. This will protect your hair from drying and save your hair from damage.
