Herbal Remedies for Hives
Hives are an allergic reaction or reaction to some irritant in which the sufferer develops rings and patches, accompanied by swelling. They appear in clusters all over the body with rings and patches.

Reduce stress that may have caused hives by drinking either chamomile tea or peppermint tea. Chamomile and peppermint have calming effects that can lessen the irritation from hives. Apply vitamin E oil over the rings and patches to reduce them quickly.
Rub aloe vera gel gently over hives to relief itching and skin inflammation. Eat foods rich in vitamin C, vitamin E and zinc to relieve skin irritation from hives. Determine whether you’re allergic to foods, such as peanuts, chocolate, cheese, milk, berries, eggs, tomatoes, shellfish, soy products, wheat or other foods. Food allergies are a common cause of hives.
Keep the rings and patches hydrated and moist by applying the body lotion that suits your skin type. Drink nettle tea with honey or lemon to reduce stress. Make a paste by mixing oatmeal and cornstarch with water.
Apply this paste to the rings and patches from hives. Leave the paste on for 30 minutes, and then gently wash off with cold water. This should relieve pain, itching and swelling.
