Herbal Treatment for Tuberculosis
A miniscule germ called tubercle bacillus causes tuberculosis. It enters the body through the nose, mouth, or windpipe and makes its way to the lungs. Once it has entered the lungs, the germ increases in size and multiplies, forming small, raised spots.
Tuberculosis primarily affects the glands, intestines, bones, and lungs. It is a contagious disease so those affected and exhibiting symptoms must be confined to limit the exposure of others.
Symptoms
Some of the most common symptoms of tuberculosis are chronic cough, fatigue, fever (usually at night), body aches and pains, pain in the chest area, heartburn, indigestion, and respiratory problems.
Remove the pulp from two custard apples and mix the pulp with 25 raisins.
Boil the mixture slowly in water. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool.
Afterwards add cinnamon, cardamom, and sugar candy. Eat this mixture to reduce the symptoms of tuberculosis.
Add honey to the juice of the Indian gooseberry. Drink the mixture every morning. Boil drumstick leaves in water. Then add limejuice, salt, and pepper. This makes a soup you should drink daily.
Drink one cup of fresh pineapple juice every day to speed up recovery. Eat bananas to reduce cough and ease fever. Drink plantain juice once a day. Eat bottle gourd to treat tuberculosis symptoms. Be sure to eat foods rich in calcium, such as dairy products.
A healthy diet for those suffering from tuberculosis
When tuberculosis is first diagnosed, be sure to drink plenty of liquids (especially orange juice and other raw fruit juices). Drink a different juice every two hours and make sure to alternate the juices in such a way that you are drinking orange juice every other time.
After your symptoms start to improve, switch from the juice diet to a milk diet, drinking milk every 2 hours for eight weeks.
Useful tips
Since tuberculosis is contagious, it is very important that you limit your contact with other people while exhibiting symptoms so that no one else will catch the disease from you.
