There can be multiple reasons behind the issue of excessive hair loss. If we categorize these reasons in broader terms, they come as: hereditary, age, and health. These are the three primary reasons behind hair fall. If you ignore hair loss for a long time, it will naturally lead to baldness.

This can be full or partial, but there are all the chances of losing hair. So, it is better to be cautious, and careful. After all, you cannot afford to lose them, and it is difficult to get them back.

Hereditary causes are quite common, and over that you do not have any kind of control. Supposing your father or grandfather was suffering from baldness, then it is most likely that this problem will be faced by you as well.

Actually, this issue is caused by hormonal imbalance and this gets transferred from generation to generation. This hormonal imbalance binds hair follicles and then forces them to shrink. After a period of time, this shrinkage results in hair loss, which results in excessive hair loss, and then leads to partial or complete baldness.

As per the modern medical science, this issue is caused by abnormal activity of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone. Generally, the problem starts when there is an excessive supply of this hormone in the body. Then, the second most common cause of baldness is the age.

Like anything else, human hair also undergo aging, and that is why, there are chances that one suffers from excessive hair loss or baldness over a period of time.

In the young age, your body is able to produce new hair, and that is why, you are never able to realize that you were losing hair, and new hair were coming up in place of them. However, with rising age, this process slows down and then comes a point when this process stops completely. This is when, you start suffering from the issue of baldness.

As you already know that white hair are also weaker than black hair. Then there are health related baldness. This can be because of serious diseases such as cancer, etc., which may lead to baldness.
