Avoid stress: Work pressure and related stress is your biggest enemy. Here you have to decide that you are not stretching yourself—both physically and mentally. Do not be over enthusiastic or over confident of yourself, and keep working the same way you were doing before pregnancy. If not immediately, you might come across some issues later on and thus it is better to adopt a relaxed and comfortable work regime.

Speak up: Do not fear that your company management would start taking you as an incompetent professional when they come to know about your pregnancy. Tell them soon after you are confirmed with this good news.

There are all the chances that your boss would assign you work appropriate with your state of pregnancy. Communication gap can be hazardous and you need to speak up on any matters affecting your well being at professional and personal levels.

Traveling: Traveling until sixth month of your pregnancy is acceptable, but after this period you have to avoid it to the extent possible. Especially, during the seventh and eight month, you are not supposed to travel. This can result in premature delivery, and you have to prevent it in all cases.
