Day in and day out, we keep on suffering from headache. Since it has become a regular affair, we have also found our ways out. We always keep some typical painkillers with ourselves – in our office bags and wallets also.

After all, this is the easiest way of getting relief from headache, which takes away all your joys of life. Neither it would let you do your official work, nor it is so serious that you take leave every other day due to headache.

Well, one of the easiest ways to get relief from headache is to keep an ice pack on your head. This can prove to be a very effective solution for treating headache during summer season.

Otherwise, during winter season, you can do a heavy oil massage. You can use hot oil for massage. In order to facilitate flow of oil deep into your scalp, you can place a towel wet with hot water, right on your head.

Using this way, you can open up your scalp pores and then the oil can flow into it. Needless to mention, you have to use oil that is suitable for winter season – mustard oil or almond oil. Do not use oil that freeze up during winter season.

In order to relieve stress and pain from scalp, pull your hair across your scalp. You will feel that this act helps a lot in freeing up tension. After doing this for about 15-20 minutes, tie your head tight with a clean and dry cloth, and then go to sleep. You will feel relieved in the morning.
