Natural Winter Facials

Come winter and your skin automatically begins to wither under the impact of the chilly weather, cold winds and temperature variations. The winter months can steal the smooth silken texture of your skin and result in dry, chapped skin that looks horrible and is difficult to live with.

It becomes essential for you to indulge in proper skin care during the winters in order to keep your skin in good health. Moisturizing your skin becomes all the more important at this time of the year to prevent it from drying. You also need to get rid of all those harsh soaps and chemicals lined up in the bathroom as they rob the natural oils from your skin giving it a dry, scaly appearance.

Beauty experts insist on investing in proper skin care and the best way to pamper your skin is by going in for natural winter facials. These amazing facials make use of completely natural ingredients that help replenish your skin and keep it in the pink of health throughout the chilly months.

Natural winter facials for healthy skin:

Now you don’t need to rush to the salon every time to get a facial. All you need to do is look in your kitchen cabinet and you will find all the ingredients required to get a flawless complexion this winter.

Almond and Walnut Winter Facial:

This facial tops our charts when it comes to battling all those winter skin woes. It helps nourish your skin from within and keeps it glowing. Take 4-5 blanched almonds and walnuts. Add a little milk and make a smooth paste in the blender. Apply this to your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Massage in circular motion and wash off with lukewarm water.

Tomato and Honey Winter Facial:

This facial helps get rid of dirt and grime and enables you to get an instant glow. It also helps maintain skin elasticity and prevents the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Take 1 tomato and extract its juice. Add 1 tsp honey to it and apply it all over your face and neck. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes and wipe off with a damp cotton swab. Rinse with warm water and see the glow.

Carrot and Grape Facial:

This facial is a sure shot winter skin favorite. Take 2 tbsp of grated carrot along with the juice and add 1 tsp fresh grape juice to it. Add 1-2 drops of olive oil and apply to the face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
