Pain Relieving Exercises

Dealing with work related pressure is becoming tough. Meeting steep deadlines, multiple projects in hand, and boardroom meetings are making life more hectic for today’s professionals.

With this, one has to work harder and for more hours. This kind of lifestyle invariably results in many types of body pains and other related issues. People become more prone to depression and stress related disorders these days, and this is not good for their health.

Of course, there are solutions that you can practice, in order to lead a healthy, happy, and fit life. Making mild exercise a part of your daily routine is one of the most viable options.

You are not expected to spend hours on it, but a few intelligent moves for a few minutes can serve the purpose. In fact, there are some exercises that you can do right at your office desk.

For instance, keep your hands in resting position over the office desk before you, and then rotate your head in a clockwise motion for three to four times. Do it in a slow and consistent manner. Feel relaxed and try to release the muscle tension.

Now, after doing one set with three to four rotations, follow the same pattern in anti-clockwise motion. This exercise will help you in stretching your neck and back muscles, and you will feel tension free and relieved from the strain you were feeling otherwise.

You can also change the fashion of this exercise, for the sake of variation. The whole idea is to relieve your muscle from tension, and exercise provides variation that helps in this.

You can do this by bending your head in forward and backward motion. As a matter of fact, you can do these exercises with your hands and legs as well. So, do it on your office desk, or the office cafeteria – it’s simple.

If you are feeling stress in your shoulder muscles, rest your hands a bit higher than your shoulders. Keep your elbows on the desk in a relaxed position and keep your fingers in the upward direction. This will ease off tension from your wrists and fingers as well.
