After doing intense cardio workouts, we must take enough rest so that the muscles can grow during that period. The more resistance we apply to the muscle, the stronger they become and we can increase the endurance of such muscles.
Then we can change our body workout routines and diet to suit the goals. The proper mix of workouts, diet, and then enough rest and recuperation can help a skinny person to become a muscular figure with perfect abs and ripped muscles.
The recovery after the workouts is the time span we take rest after an intense cardio workout. We need to have a proper diet with rich amount of proteins while we are at rest. The post workout recovery includes having a good diet such as fish, boiled eggs, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Cramming ourselves at the gym without any rest will burn out muscles along with fat and can make us lose weight without any muscle growth.
Workouts must be planned on how much duration we can take rest. This is very true when we do very intense cardio workout. We must understand the fact that when we push our muscles hard we should gain more weight. A solid level of rest is essential for that. We can take around 2 or 3 high intensity workouts each week and after that, we must take enough rest for that. We should sleep for around 8 hours daily. Only while sleeping our muscle can heal and our body become fresh. The people who fail to sleep for at least 8 hours daily will lose body fat and muscles soon.
Rest and recuperation is vital for muscle growth and proper routine of workouts and then breaks in the middle with a good diet is essential for muscle building. We can take more rest when we find time but people who work out all day and do not take rest will not have any muscle growth since the growth hormone, which is responsible for muscle growth works only during the rest time and this can be seen clearly if we take rest for the mentioned time and also do the workouts regularly.
