Having a smooth skin is not just about expensive cosmetic products. It is more about health and sustainability. Artificial cosmetic products can provide you beauty in the short term, but their effect is short lived.

In the long term, you require intrinsic health that is long lasting. As a matter of fact, applying artificial cosmetic products can harm your skin in quite a serious manner. Your skin may appear dry, and lifeless when you are without make up or not applying those products.

This is one of the reasons you will find many artistes with lifeless skin, when they are without makeup. It is quite obvious that your skin cannot bear chemicals on a regular basis.

It may respond to them, for some time and initially, but after a point of time, it does not get along with these products. Here, we are going to discuss about a basic framework that is primary to maintain healthy and flawless skin.

First of all, always observe that you are keeping your body well hydrated. This means, you are supposed to drink lots of fresh juice and plain water.

Avoiding coffee and tea is good, and you can limit their intake, instead of completely abstaining from them. Nevertheless, make sure that you are drinking at least eight to ten glasses of water every day.

As you already know that vitamin C plays a vital role in keeping your skin healthy, take plenty of it. If you can drink fresh lime juice on a daily basis – it will work best for you.

You can also think of pouring some fresh lime juice on your vegetables and salads. Besides lemon, you can also consume lots of vitamin C rich fruits and vegetables including watermelons, oranges, grapes, etc.

If you are an avid smoker, you have to control it for the sake of your skin, and for your overall health. Also, do not forget to expose your skin to sunlight, for some time. Do not do it for long hours, and last but not the least, keep your skin clean and free from dust, and external particles.
