Skin Whitening Without Using Chemical Based Cosmetics

White skin is not a determinant of one’s beauty. But having a fair looking skin is a dream for a large number of girls. What matters the most that you are not ignoring your skin tone getting dark due to external factors. If so, it shows that you are not paying sufficient attention to your skin, which it deserves.

Once you realise it, at the first sight, you would tend to pounce on a variety of branded cosmetics. You have seen glamorous divas eulogizing their qualities day and night, and you are quite convinced about their claims of making you look like a fairy in a few days or weeks.

Beware! Applying chemical based cosmetics may give you short term results but in the long run they can never be beneficial for you. In fact, they have enough of elements that can hurt the overall health of your skin. You always understand this but get carried away with aggressive promotional campaigns. So, what’s the alternative? Here are a few most effective one for your easy reference:

- Milk is a natural skin whitener. Apply it on your skin one to three times a day, just the way you apply any moisturizer or skin cream. Wash it off in 20-30 minutes, depending on the weather and room environment.

- Prepare a face pack with a mix of sandalwood powder, rose water, lemon juice and curd. Apply it on your face and wait until it dries up. Wash it off after this.

- This pack can also be a mix of tomato, lemon and cucumber juice. Just see which one suits you the most. Also, you can try them alternatively for variation. Your skin many times stops responding to the same type of face packs and here you can go for variations.

-  Potatoes are also a natural bleaching agent. Crush them and extract their juice for making a paste. This would help your skin look clear and unblemished.

Develop a routine around these home solutions, but do not go overboard.
