Perhaps, neck pain and joint pain are something that each one of us suffers some or the other time in our lives. Though there is no hard and fast cause of both these ailments, and they mostly differ from person to person. However, you might be able to notice that most of the times these causes are related with your daily lifestyle.
Joint pains are mostly concerned with incorrect posture, degeneration of cartilage and injury. Professionals who sit on their office chairs all the time remain at a risk of getting neck pain more often. The reason is incorrect posture and faulty ergonomics.
Sitting on chair for long hours invariably leads in incorrect posture, and one has to be very careful on his posture all the time. We seek comfort in bending our body through lower back and waist, and this often leads in troublesome situation the other day.
Also, our diet plays a very important role here. The kind of food we consume on a daily basis does not provide the required strength to our bodies. You will find that our grandparents do not have the sort of health issues we face today. This is mostly due to the intrinsic strength provided by their diet.
Imagine what will happen to your car if you run it on kerosene, instead of petrol or other suitable fuels. Its engine will collapse sooner or later. The same applies on your body as well.
If you do not provide the required amount of nutrients, it will face unusual wear and tear, and muscle strain or body pains are also few of those consequences. This is also the reason behind common found problems such as scoliosis and hyperlordosis.
You have to be extra careful during the winter season, as this is the time when your neck can stretch more easily due to the cold and bleak weather.
The stiffness in your body caused by cold weather can trigger many types of muscle related problems, and you have to provide your body with strength – both internally and externally. Internally, you have to consume foods that can help you in moderating your body temperature. These include almonds, honey, and jiggery.

While it is vague that you write what we should do or be aware of. I would recommend pointing out how glucosamine and chondritin also help with arthritic pain. Maybe have a keyword linked to a relevant page?
I do agree that “office people” have an unhealthy job when it comes to lower back problems but maybe a few pointers on how to sit and stand might help.
