Bench press works while you push iron away from your chest. For this, you have to lie down on a bench, and take an iron rod coupled with a set of weights on both the sides. Basically, these exercises provide movement not only for the chest but also to your other body parts, including neck and back.
There are compound movement exercises that are suitable for your muscle building plans, and bring you the desired level of results, to a large extent.
However, you are required to take care of certain aspects of the way you carry on with your exercise plan. This includes the way of gripping and movement. You have to hold the rod in a way that it creates pressure on your chest muscles.
Many times, people put pressure on their shoulder muscles and that is why, their chest muscles do not get developed. Apart from shoulders, people also place the weight on their arms, and you can see that their arm muscles get stronger.
