Smoking is a part of life for many of us. It becomes such an integral part of our daily routine that we do it as the way we eat our food or do other daily jobs. However, it is not like that. All of us know about the ill effects of smoking, but think that they will not be amongst those who suffer the dire consequences of smoking.With most of us, the problem is that we think that nothing will happen to our health and things will remain normal for always. In our twenties, we do not really have worries about health and finances. Later on, these things become a cause of concern and then we start paying attention to these aspects. The same is true with smoking as well.

In their twenties, people do not really worry about the ill effects of smoking and this is the time, they pick up this bad habit. This bad habit gradually turns into an addiction and a person is no more able to live without cigarettes and smoking. It becomes difficult for him , to quit smoking after years of addiction.

People just give up and they feel that they won’t be able to leave smoking. This is not actually the reality. You can leave smoking, but you have to understanding the in and out of smoking as a habit and as an addiction.

An addiction cannot be left in a day or a two. It takes time, and you have to allow your body to adjust itself as per the new conditions. If you enforce things all of sudden, it will certainly react in a negative way, and then you will say that you are not able to live without smoking.

If you smoke just die to peer pressure, then the case will be different. You have to avoid getting into certain types of situations, in order to avoid smoking. You have to communicate it to your peers that you are not interested in smoking – be it active or passive. Think about mouth cancer and what smoking can do to your life, and it will help in avoiding smoking to a great extent.
