Treating Acne The Right Way

Acne becomes a terrible skin disease, if you do not control it with appropriate measures or apply wrong type of treatments over it. For the first step, keep your face clean and moist. You don’t have to wash it off again and again.

It is on your discretion if you feel the need of a face wash rather than a compulsion of doing it again and again. It is advisable to use medicated soap instead of so-called branded and expensive beauty soaps. They may aggravate the problem for you.

Another very important aspect of this exercise is the way you dry up your face. You might notice for yourself that you were using a towel or a napkin that was not very hygienic to be used for this purpose. Most of the times, you use the napkin you were using throughout the day or a towel that you had been using for the past few days.

This is where you go take away all the benefits of your face off. Your skin again picks up many germs in this manner. Therefore, first ensure that you use a fresh napkin or keep a pack of wet napkins with you, to rule out all such problems. Now comes the treatment.

It is suggested that you apply a lotion made out of baking soda and water on the acne affected area. You need not apply it for hours, but only for 5-10 minutes, and then you can wash it off. Besides this, you can develop a schedule of applying another paste two to three times a week.

This paste should be the mix of cinnamon powder, honey and lemon juice. This will provide you an incredibly soothing effect to your acne, and also helps in improving the quality of your skin texture to a great extent.

This paste you ought to apply for some 40-50 minutes, to derive maximum of its properties. Along with these external treatments, you have to increase your vitamin C intake in diet, and avoid dairy products.
