Doing 30 minutes of exercise activates the nitric oxide inside the body which keeps the blood pressure under control. Do walking, make use of stairs instead of lifts and undertake simple household tasks by yourself.
Shed extra kilos from your weight as obesity is considered as one the principal reason of high blood pressure. Smoking and drinking of liquor is hazardous for health. If you are not able to leave this habit at least make an attempt to minimize its intake.
Make healthy changes in your eating habits. Eat things that are rich in potassium, magnesium & calcium such as curd, low fat milk, dry fruits, chocolate, butter milk, banana, date palm, potato, beans, carrot, tomato, spinach and sweet potato. Mixed juice of gourd, orange, carrot and spinach, cucumber and mint sauce is also considered beneficial. Take papaya in the morning.
