Stroke is known to be the one of the commonest reason for death after cancer and heart problems. It is another term used for cerebrovascular disease.
How strokes happen
Stroke is the result of either blockage of blood vessels present in the brain or rupture of vessels. In layman’s term, when blood doesn’t reach to the brain, then it is stroke. Inability to reach blood to the brain is either due to blood clot, which is termed as normal stroke or due to rupture of blood vessel, which is known as hemorrhagic stroke. When brain’s blood supply stops then oxygen and other nutrients for the brain doesn’t reach there and then brain’s cells get damaged even they die.
Although it is one of the most prevalent reasons for human’s death in every year. But stroke can be cured.
Let’s discuss the symptoms, risk factors, and curing measures of this disease.

The alarming symptoms of strokes are:

Treatment for stroke
If stroke has happened due to blood clot then tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA ), which is a clot bursting drug is induced. Otherwise, some blood thinners are also included in the treatment. If it is hemorrhagic stroke, then certain surgeries are done. Surgery is also important when it is due to blood clotting.
Thus, it is to conclude with a good food habit and healthy lifestyle one can lead a stroke free life.
