Water: Drink plenty of water at regular intervals. You must know that dehydration is the main reason behind strains in ankles, calves and hamstrings. Take fresh fruit juices and lime water on a routine basis.

Breakfast: A healthy breakfast is the key for keeping good health. It is highly advisable to make milk and banana a part of your routine breakfast. You might feel bored by taking them daily and so can give your breakfast some variation. Include more fruits and less of fast food in your breakfast.

Minerals: Any deficiency of calcium and potassium can be the major cause of weakness in your joints and bones.

Walks: Avoid going for long walks, in case you are facing the problem of leg cramp more often. The same stands applicable for walking and running on treadmill as well. Decide about your exercise objectives wherein you won’t end up aggravating your problems by exercising.

Movement: Try that you are not sticking on to one position for long hours. If your job is desk bound and you are not required to move, try that you move across the office lobby or canteen after every few hours. You can go and have water by yourself, instead of asking office boy for the same. This way you will get a brisk walk and avoid potential hazards of sitting in one position for long hours.

Posture: Many of us are workaholics and even forget to change the posture while working on an exhaustive document or a software project. This can result in muscle cramp and problems related with back and neck.

Warm up: If you are pursuing an exercise plan, start your acts with proper warm up. In absence of sufficient warm up, you can end up getting muscle stretch while your muscle was not ready to bear intense weight training. Do not underestimate the importance of warm up therefore. Do not overexert your body while doing exercises. Your enthusiasm in the gym is good but being overenthusiastic can lead you in troubles. You might not feel the pain of your adventure at that time but later during the day.
