Disolve a tablespoon of "Vicks" vaporub, in a cup of hot seamering water, and inhale the warm steamy vapors. Be careful, it's not too hot. Vicks vaporub is available at local pharmacy.

my son is 20 months old we found out today that he has pneumonia. to keep the fever down we've been giving him concentrated tylenol infant's drops 1. ml and the bottle recomends to take every 4 hrs if needed but the one i think is working the best is the children's ibuprofen 100 1 tsp every 8 hrs if needed. he seems to be doing very well his fever was 104.6 and we were fighting it until the ibuprofen. As for the drinking we've been doing the popcycles and he likes apple juice alot right now. good luck brenda

I also have Pneumonia very painful from the cough. another site told me to try holding water in my mouth whenever i feel the urge to cough this prevents the cough and voulah relief. it does work very well but you body can not get rid of your infection as easily. Also please guys stop giving your children things like apple juice this promotes bowl movement and in turn dehydration. please give them lots of fluids though ie....Ginger Ale,Pedialyte, filtered bottled water. This will help you or your child/ren fight the infection by boosting you body's strength and charisma. good luck and remember you can not soley rely on home remedy for children as pneumonia is known to be very deadly toy with your life if you wish take the children to the ER.

Been suffering from almost 1 month cough.. after consulting my doctor, he advised me to take antibiotic for 1 week, aside from that I\'m also using nebulizer everyday. Unfortunately my cough didn\'t change so I went back to the hospital after 2 weeks and the doctor told me that I have pneumonia and he changed my medicines and advised me to buy inhaler at the same time another antibiotics. As of now I researched the proper diet regarding to my condition and I noticed that the patients have this kind of disease should eat lots of vegetables and fruits and AVOID MEAT because the digestion of the patients getting slower while medicating. Plenty of sleep, walking atleast 30min a day, sunlight atleast 20min in the morning, walking can help faster recovery. Water therapy and prayers will be very helpful... God Bless!

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar mixed with 1 tabelspoon of honey. Stir in warm water to taste and drink daily. Also put 1/2 white onion next to your bed. The onion will absorb the germs as you sleep/cough. Discard the onion and replace daily.
