Hypertension Symptoms
Hypertension is medically known as high blood pressure. A major part of the world population is affected with hypertension each year. The most unfortunate thing about hypertension is that the person affected by it does not experience any of the symptoms that are linked to this disease.

If you check your blood pressure post vigorous activity, you will definitely find your blood pressure to be high. But this does not mean that you have developed hypertension.
Normally a person is said to have developed high blood pressure if his/her blood pressure is above the normal levels constantly for a period that is more than nearly 6 months. Some common hypertension symptoms have been given hereunder.

Dizziness or vertigo is an important symptom of hypertension. If you feel dizziness, you must take rest and try to breath in adequate amount of oxygen to get rid of the dizziness problem.
Excessive fatigue, tiredness, double vision, blurred vision etc are some other common symptoms of hypertension that should be taken seriously. Constant fatigue can affect your life in several ways. It may hamper your day-to-day activities.
At times, double vision could be dangerous such as while driving or working on a machine. Headache, nausea, feeling of confusion time and again, and irregular heartbeat are some other common hypertension symptoms.
Hypertension symptoms may also include nosebleeds, chest pain, ringing in the ears and even heart failure. Do not get anxious if you experience some of these symptoms because these symptoms may be the result of some other medical conditions too. But you must see your doctor without any delay so that the risks associated with this silent killer can be avoided.
