MAKE UP TRICKS
TO LOOK AS IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING ANY MAKE UP..........
  1. To look as if you are not wearing makeup, dip a flat 3 inch square piece of cotton wool in chilled water and squeeze well between the palms of your hands.
  2. Very lightly pat the face with it. The cold compression gives a natural look to the face and the make up stays longer without getting spoiled.
  3. This is done before the eye and lip make up and after you have applied the foundation, powder and blusher. It sets the foundation, powder and blusher.
  4. If you are in a hurry, just pat your face with a damp towel which you just finished using for your bath.

NEW LOOK WITH OLD MAKE UP

  1. Brush a dark powder eye shadow onto eyelids and smooth a dab of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on top for a new eye gloss
  2. Instead of investing in a new creamy color, sweep powder blush on cheeks and top with a tiny drop of liquid glycerin or a rich moisturizer
  3. To have a gloss look lipstick there is no need to junk your old matte lipstick. Vaseline works well on the matte lipstick to give you a glossy finish. You may also apply gloss over your matte lipstick and get that glossy look that's in this season.
  4. To have a trendy nail color, sprinkle any colored powder blusher over your shade of enamel as it dries to give a shimmer to your polish
 

MAKE UP NOT HARMFUL FOR YOUR SKIN

Make up is not harmful for your skin. On the contrary it may be good for you by protecting your skin against dust and pollution. However, what may not be good for your skin is STALE MAKE UP.Remember to clean your face with good cleansing milk at the end of the day. The cleansing milk penetrates deep to remove all traces of make up without drying your skin. Never wear make up to bed ....clean your face no matter how late the hour may be!
The secret of make up is not to over do it. It should be subtle, natural and suit your personality.

SUITABLE LIGHT FOR MAKE UP

Apply make up in natural light (day light) whenever possible. Sit with your back to the window, this way you can spot any flaws and blend make up more perfectly. When day light is not available, see that the light falls directly on your face. So it is always desirable to have a bright light just above your dressing table.

NATURAL LIP GLOSS

To have a gloss look lipstick there is no need to junk your old matte lipstick. Vaseline works well on the matte lipstick to give you a glossy finish. You may also apply gloss over your matte lipstick and get that glossy look that's in this season.

CARE OF LIPSTICKS

Always keep your lipsticks and all make up pencils in the fridge, this prevents them from breaking. Matte lipsticks stay for a longer period of time as compared to gloss lipsticks

ADD SHIMMER TO NAIL POLISH

To have a trendy nail color, sprinkle any colored powder blusher over your shade of enamel as it dries to give a shimmer to your polish

USING DEODORANTS SAFELY
  1. Make it a habit to use a deodorant after a bath. It is a product meant for personal hygiene.
  2. Never share personal toiletries or products like deo roll -on or stick.
  3. Do not apply deo roll on, stick etc on wet skin because it will be sticky and less effective.
  4. Don’t apply any deodorants; roll on etc on recently shaven armpit. Give a gap of minimum 12 hours to avoid irritation.
