Ayurveda favors of having ghee (butter oil) in the pregnancy which will nourish your body and your fetus. Ayurveda denies of having sexual intercourse during the whole pregnancy period. Green leafy vegetables, less spices and light food is advisable. One should not go for curds at night. Junk food, packaged food, bottled drinks (cold drinks) are best to be avoided.
Ayurveda suggests to keep the pregnant lady in happy mood all the time because the mind and nature of the mother equally affects the development of the child.
