Pay attention to your skin twice a day -- at night and in the morning! During the day we expose our skin to pollution. Many of us enjoy using some makeup. It's important, therefore, that we do a little more in the evening than in the morning.
The first step towards beautiful skin is working out what your skin type is. This is necessary so that you can work out how to care for your skin, and what products you should use.
Very few people are blessed with it!
Smooth texture
No enlarged pores
Good elasticity (Pinch around the jaw line: did it jump right back?.)
Rosy color
No blackheads or blemishes.
At midday it still looks fresh and clean.
To care for normal skin you should start with a gentle foaming facial wash. Massaging it into your face will give you a rosy complexion. Stick with a daily cleanser-toner-moisturizer routine for your face and a wash-scrub-body spray for the rest of your corpus, and you'll live a long and productive life.
Dry Skin Type
No visible pores
Very thin, almost transparent skin
Flaky
Droplets of perspiration appear only above upper lip
Appearance of fine lines very early in life
Dry skin is a sign that the skin has lost all of its essential protective functions. It dries up, lacks suppleness and therefore has a tendency to form wrinkles more easily, whether fine lines, laugh lines or premature aging wrinkles.
For dry skin use an oil-basedskin cleanser daily. Splash cold water onto your face to clean and refresh your skin. Use a thick cream moisturiser to seal in as much moisture as possible. Light massages - at least two nights a week - with musk rose oil or just sweet almond oil will help a great deal.
Oily skin feels very greasy.
Thick texture
Pores are enlarged
After a wash it feels fine.
By midday it looks shiny.
Prone to pimples
Toning lotion is a must: by tightening pores it keeps dirt out and allows your face to regain its velvety smoothness. Keep your skin very clean. Limit washing your face to two or three times a day. To cleanse oily skin, use oil-based products as they dissolve sebum effectively. Opt for oil-free moisturizers to maintain a shine-free complexion.
When you have some areas of dry skin and other areas of oily skin, it's considered combination.
Oiliness is usually on the T-zone.
Dryness is usually on the cheeks.
Enlarged pores and blackheads on the t-zone and cheeks
Some areas of your face can feel tight after washing;
It is easy to recover the natural balance with appropriate care. Look for cleansers suitable for combination skin. A deep-pore cleanser will help to keep the oily T-zone clear. An oil-inhibiting moisturiser will provide enough hydration for the dry areas of the face, without making the oilier areas worse. A gentle toner will help to keep the skin in the central panel of the face shine-free. There’s no need to use it on drier areas
Skin is thin and fine-textured
Skin generally tends to be dry
Reacts quickly to both heat and cold
Sensitive skin can be easily irritated.
It is commonly dry, delicate and prone to allergic reactions
Occasionally break out in spots.
Caring For Sensitive Skin Type:
Always wear sunscreen since your skin will burn in the sun. Always wear a protective cream, both indoors and out. Use a moisturiser to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants.
