Life is made up of up and downs that come in succession. You don’t feel happy everyday and neither does sadness stay on for ever. You have to be happy and unhappy according to what dawns on you each day. But how do you cope with the sad times in life? You can perhaps get some luxurious treatment at the spa or take some hot fudge. You can go through the happy memories of the past. The happy memories are stored in the banks and they only help you to depend on them when you are broke. Similarly when you don’t have happiness in store with you, you can bank upon the happy moments. Perhaps you are much troubled on a bad hair day. But then a happy memory of the past can wipe out the agony of a bad hair day with happy memories.

When you are quite at 40, seeing your first baby’s sonogram is pleasure. You can start writing positive letters to yourself when you are in a bad state of mind. The letter can be written on how you plan to better the whole situation. This can help you though many tough times.

You can get depressed after the birth of a baby but the touch and feel of your baby in your arms would bring you much joy. It so happens that on a rush day you have the whole world crushing on you with loads of work when you notice a small pretty thing like a new bud opening up in the garden or something and that makes your day. You are ready to face the world, come what may. Natural sights are wonderful mood menders. Similarly, long walks, chocolates, looking at albums and old gifts from friends are definitely mood menders. So next time if you are feeling down, try these out only to be happy once more.
