There are women who reach Brazil with a full bush and go back with a nicely trimmed runway. A Brazilian wax therapy is a procedure where all hair is removed from the tummy and further down to the bottom with just a little strip of hair on top of the vagina. The outer part of the labia is also waxed.

The Brasileras, Brazilian women are obsessed with waxing because of the bikinis that they wear and those which encourage the waxing of bodies especially the genital area. Then there is the Rio Carnival, the bejeweled float where the naked body is sprayed gold and a thin string of beads or sequins is worn in place of knickers and that is quite normal. No Brasilera would like to be noticed with a furry crack and therefore the price of Brazilian Wax is kept low.

The climate of Brazil is quite suitable for waxing and the constant humidity keeps the follicles open and the skin relaxed all the more. The salons in Brazil use the honey wax which is traditional and thick and more hygienic. Water soluble wax is used. The honey waxes are very effective and the hair takes a longer time to grow back.

In the UK generally the vagina is covered with paper knickers but in other places, the vagina is left bare. The skin is dusted with powder so that the area is left dry and the lengthy hairs are snipped off so that wax gets a better grip of the shorter hairs. The skin is made taut by the beautician and the person herself and the wax is spread over with a wooden spatula. You are asked to sit or lie down in special positions so that the wax can be applied properly and then the area can be waxed without a problem.
