May be You are worried about the fine lines on your faces and probably thinking of buying the brand new anti-aging cream you recently saw on TV. Or perhaps you are using the age control products for long period of time. Now it is the time to think over the anti-aging or age-control products again. Do you know that anti aging products may increase the chance of one’s death?

For a period of time tretinoin , which is also known as Retin A, or Renova (a form of tretinoin) are used to reduce the aging signs from the skin.  They were effective indeed and people had hardly any doubt about their safety. But according to a latest research by

Weinstock (as published in the journal of Archives of Dermatology) these products are risky for they advance its users much closer to the death. The study was based on some elderly men who were treated in a VA hospital with 0.1% tretinoin topically for curing the skin cancer. They were more prone to death than the non user of  tretinoin.

The research does not determine any group of people but the result proves that the smokers are in more danger. Is tretinoin, which is an oral form of Vitamin-A, is much harmful to the smokers.  Though the research has not reached to any concluding or finite decision till now, it is better to be preventive.

If you are using tretinoin (retinol, adapalene, tazarotene) or take Vitamin A or beta carotene supplements, you need to quit smoking. Using Anti-aging products and smoking can go hand in hand, because doing the both things simultaneously may signal the end life. Quitting smoking is always a good choice, because smoking invites premature wrinkles and makes you a heart patient.

So before hurrying for an age control product, try to prevent the age by leading a healthy and happy life style.
