Diet and body weight are directly related to the pain of arthritis. Overweight generally increases the knee pain. There are some foods which must be included in your diet list if you suffer from arthritis. Here are some guidelines for you:
Vitamins:
Vitamins B5, B6, B12 are essential for an arthritis patient. Moreover an arthritis patient needs antioxidant vitamins like C, E along with vitamin K. however these vitamins are needed for overall improvement of health.
Minerals:
Zinc has proven its trivial effectiveness on rheumatoid arthritis. Among other minerals you may think of Magnesium, Calcium, Boron, Copper, Sulphur, Germanium and Manganese. But do not take Manganese along with Calcium.
Supplements:
Researches are going on the effectiveness glucosamine and chondroitin. These supplements may give some relief to an osteoarthritis patient from pain and stiffness. But Chondroitin should be used carefully because it makes the blood thinner. Fish and fish oil work on swelling. Fish oil can be taken in the form of omega3 capsules. Antioxidant Glutathione along with undenatured whey protein also give relieve from inflammation. Quercetin is another anti-inflammatory agent. Type II Collagen works on the joint area, connective tissue, and articular cartilage. Overdose of any vitamin, mineral or calcium is harmful. So always consult your doctor before taking any of these elements.

-Sodium nitrate or tartrazine worsen the rheumatoid arthritis. Generally ingesting foods include this. Black walnuts affect Behcet’s Disease – a kind of uncommon arthritis.
