Arthritis and Its Ill Effects

What is Arthritis
Arthritis literally stands for joint-inflammation, where arthr-stands for joint, and itis-stands for inflammation. Though commonly known as arthritis, it is originally a group consisting of a huge number, over a 100 diseases related to rheumatism including several other uncomfortable conditions of swellings and stiffness.
This condition not only makes us feel uncomfortable but also leads towards instabilities and joint weaknesses, even leading to such circumstances that prevent a person from performing basic day-to-day tasks.
The disease is not age specific
The worst part of this disease is that it is not age specific. Anybody can get affected and they can be of any age. This disease readily attacks the joints in the hips, hands, knees, and spine.
If proper care is not taken it can cause permanent damage to those joints, even extending to the bones, skin, and other organs, disastrously diminishing a person’s living quality.
Risk Factors of Arthritis
There are some risk factors to be attentive to:
-Genetics can be a contributor but nobody has any clear idea to what extent.
-Age, though is not a factor for this disease but older we grow more we become prone to the risk.
-Weight, needs to be checked and kept in a standard measurement, so as to prevent from the joints to get overloaded.
-Any Previous injuries can be areas of threat. So we need to be more focused while performing our daily tasks, so as to prevent from getting anymore damages to that area.
-At times Occupation can be a major culprit to cause such issues. Repetitive jobs, which require high demand, can increase such risks.
Some common arthritis associated with swelling includes “rheumatoid”, “gout”, and “tendonitis”.
Though we cannot determine when but we can definitely find how to stop arthritis causing constant damage.
Workout- Less fat mass equals less stress on joints, as well the exercise empowers the joint muscles, which helps in protecting the combined bone joints.
Diet- A proper diet with substantial amount of vegetables especially green one is very crucial, and excess intake of salt and saturated fat, plus sugar intake should be controlled.
