Balanced Diet during Pregnancy
If you are pregnant and in full spirits about holding that little baby in your arms very soon, you also need to care about the diet that you are required to have during pregnancy. Now is not the time when you can gorge on and gulp down the cheese burger that you used to enjoy earlier on. You not must think of a responsible meal to nourish you and your baby. You have to think of your baby now and find out what is best for the little one. Drinking is a no-no and smoking is banned. You can also lessen the coffee intake and may be change to a diet of herbal or green tea which is a good thing for all pregnant women. Your diet is very important and you should take it very seriously. You have to follow a reasonable eating plan now. You have to plan your diet according to the doctor’s advice.
You have to have a balanced diet of proteins, fats and carbohydrates with lots of fluid intake, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to keep you going. The first few months are weary with the morning sickness and all Now that you are eating for two people, you would find yourself gaining weight with a steady pace.
The doctor would surely advice you on a good gain of weight and you should adjust the diet according to that. The weight gain should be sensible. Otherwise, in the end you might have problem with a normal child birth and the baby might refuse to come off. This is a time to enjoy and felicitate at the thought of the baby but you should clearly maintain the diet. The amount of constituents you put into your diet will count a lot when you have to stay awake at night trying to soothe the baby and feed him. Diet always plays a very important role for a would-be mother as well as for a new mom.
