Beauty Pageant
Another starry eyed beauty has evolved in India, only this time she is a teenager. Scooty Teen Diva 2008, International category, Koyal Rana I on cloud nine after representing her country in Chicago, at Miss Teen International in the year 2008. It was an honor because she is the first one to compete from India in this international pageant.
For 15 days girls around the globe were thrown together in each others company. For Rana, it was a very fulfilling and enriching experience where she had learnt a lot. With a never say die attitude she felt she was with her friends and not competitors. So, she doesn’t mind even she didn’t win the crown because she thinks she has already had got a lot from life. When her classmates were busy planning for the exams and homework, Rana had to follow a strict regime of rehearsals, orientation, preliminaries, fittings, and dinner to take care of. The contestant even had to spend an entire day in Chicago’s Brown Family Life Centre. Even then studies top the priority chart of this bubbly teenager. She likes to do a lot of activities. It was a last moment entry into the competition, but once there she gave her best shot. Her mother was always beside her to inspire and motivate her and so she was not nervous. There were a lot of activities which the girl had to undergo, even visiting children’s hospital. They had chaperones with them and showed both confidence and feminity. Rana idolizes both Princess Diana and Indira Gandhi, for their beauty and strong-mindedness. She has lovely eyes that speak of the soul underneath and she has her future planned. After doing MBA she wants to pursue modeling as career. Well we all wish you luck Rana, fly high and conquer the world.
