There is competition everywhere, which includes the celebrities too. The celebrities too face competition from each other in keeping themselves slim and good. If you look down to find out their success stories, it all boils down to their diet habits.

Just take the instance of Minnie Driver. Initially after lot of dieting she gained weight for taking on various roles. She even experimented with “Atkins Diet” for losing weight. She lost her boyfriend Criss Angel, which has left her again lighter by 10 pounds.

Minnie Driver before playing the role of “fatter-friend” in “Circle-of-Friends”, had to put on weight by 20 pounds, and again had to lose weight to get a drug addict role in one of the US Television shows. It is really difficult to determine whether the various roles or her misfortune love life is the reason for weight loss variations. Minnie said that it is very sad that people misunderstand her cause of fatness, when she is again fit after her role.

Geri Halliwell was under pressure on the reunion tour on the Spice Girls. She was wanting to look very skinny, almost as skinny as Mrs Becks her bandmate. She is known for her dieting, fighting bulimia and her battles with dieting. She admits that the extra pounds brought with it Love which wasn’t around when she was skinny. This Spice Girl is again back to dieting and hardcore workouts. She says it gives you confidence if you are in shape and dancing and singing in skimpy dresses and your body has a lot of stamina.

We only pray and hope Geri has still some stamina and some bit of Girl Power in her body. She prepared for the show after lifting her frame and after a few push ups, she was already to reach out for a new life.
