Giving birth to a child is the biggest gift to a woman. But we often lose this gift owing to carelessness. Here are some tips that should be kept in mind to experience a healthy baby.

AVOID NAUSEA AND SICKNESS: Eat in regular gaps. Make sure it’s not more than 4 hours. Get ample amount of sleep to avoid tiredness. Smoking, caffeine and drinking alcohol is a strict no during pregnancy.

MARK THAT MOVE: Avoid being rash when you move out of the bed. A careless jerk can result in a fatal haemorrhage. Wear loosely fitted clothes, as they will make you feel more comfortable.

SAY NO TO SPICY FOOD: Do not eat much of spicy food during pregnancy. Lemony smell might make you feel better, so opt for light lemony juices or fruits.

DON’T STRAIN YOUR BODY: Avoid sitting continuously for a long time at any place. Walk slowly with careful movements. While sleeping, you can keep a pillow at your hips for a comforting feel.

TRAVEL WITH CAUTION: Try to move around in a car. Tie the seat belt loosely avoiding your belly. Sit in the front to avoid jerking.

TAKE MULTI VITAMIN TABLETS: Multi vitamin tablets, which are rich in folic acid, are good to take during pregnancy. Also include a lot of green vegetables in your diet.

COPING WITH LABOUR PAIN: Rub your back during labour. This will help you to relieve yourself from the pain. Try to be in an upright position. This, by making the pelvis size wider, will speed up the delivery process. Eat and drink lots of water during delivery. This is undoubtedly the best way for a safe and painless delivery.

Hope, these handy tips will surely help you during pregnancy. If you abide by these, you can surely look forward to a hazard free delivery and a healthy baby!
