Depression: Deceptive Symptoms
Headaches and head colds are the most common complaints these days. They are basically physical disorders which are not permanent and can be diagnosed and cured quite easily. You need to take the advice of the doctor if you suffer from them quite often.
But another very common type of complaint is also existent. It is probably more dangerous as it is caused because of mental depression. Sometimes the patients are not aware of this problem and more importantly they are not ready to be treated on some occasions. The situation is not that easy for them and it is really very difficult to treat such patients.
There are some known reasons for this kind of depression. Some of these reasons are sadness, a strong sense of worthlessness and frequent crying. These reasons develop a pessimistic outlook in the patient. Such a situation is very difficult for him to handle.
A few more reasons or symptoms are listed below. These symptoms also create a massive effect upon the patients:
·Excessive amount of fatigue. It also includes lack of concentration and inability to remember anything.
·Losing interest in any activity which he enjoyed earlier. It includes sex relationship as well.
·The patient loses his natural appetite.
·Due to improper eating habits, the patient shows the tendency to lose weight also.
·An abnormal sleeping habit may develop in the patient. He may not show any interest to sleep and may keep waking night after night. It is also find that the patient also develops the habit of excessive sleep. He wants to sleep more even of he gets the chance to sleep more than 10 hours everyday.
·He may also develop the habit of walking in the sleep.
·A strong tendency of finishing his life also develops in the patient. He often shows the tendency to commit suicide.
The women are the easy victims of this severe kind of depression as they are more conscious about their self. It is noticed that majority of depression patients in the US are women.
