Fat-Free Recipes
Want to lose weight desperately but low fat food seems boring to you? Do not worry! With a little imagination and creativity, you can spice up your nutritional low fat food! We tell you how!
DO NOT FRY, STEAM INSTEAD: Do not fry your vegetables. This amounts for most of the oil in the food. Steam them, instead. Better still, boil them in a microwave. This way, your food will remain nutritional and extra oil-free as well.
CUT IT RIGHT: Cutting the meat is an important point. Trim off the fat and cut into lean pieces.
SAY NO TO CREAM: If cream is required for a dish, go in for skim milk. Low fat yoghurt or cheese is also a good option.
SOME EASY LOW FAT RECIPES:
CHICKEN AND BELL PEPPER:
INGREDIENTS: Slices of chicken breast, few slices of bell pepper, 1 onion, 1 tbsp. of Soya sauce, 2 tbsp of olive oil.
PROCESS: Fry the diced onions in olive until they turn golden. Add the chicken breast and cook for few minutes. Add bell pepper and 1 tbsp. of Soya sauce to it. Cook for 5 minutes. Have it with brown rice.
PORK CHOPS:
INGREDIENTS: 5 pieces of pork chops (remove fat), 1 egg, 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1 tbsp. of olive oil, 1 tbsp. of garlic powder, ½ cup of white wine, ½ cup low fat yoghurt or milk, 1 cup of Cream of Mushroom soup (condensed).
PROCESS: Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Season the pork chops with salt and garlic powder. Beat 1 egg in a bowl. Dip the chops in the egg, rub them in the flour and finally roll them in the breadcrumbs. Heat olive oil and fry the pork chops for few minutes until golden brown. Bake this in the microwave for an hour. Mix the low fat milk, white wine and Cream of Mushroom. Put this soup on the baked chops and bake again for an hour.
