Along with cosmetic measures one must also change the diet and switch over from unhealthy junk foods to nutritious foods that has minerals and proteins and vitamins to prevent hair loss. Chickpeas: They are one of the richest sources of vitamin B-6 and Zinc. Zinc works with Vitamin A to fight dandruff and also zinc plays a major function in building the protein structure of the hair.
Roast Beef: It is a very good source of Vitamin B6 and Zinc apart from that it is also a rich source of protein.
Soy Beans: It is a very good source of protein. But along with it is also rich in Vitamin E and Iron. Both of them are responsible for the absorption of Oxygen and help in the blood circulation that helps in the normal growth and development of the hair.
Almonds: They reduce cholesterol and also have iron, protein and Vitamin E. It helps you to avoid cholesterol reducing pills which actually cause hair fall.
Whole Wheat: Rich in Iron and Silica. Silica helps in the absorption of many other vitamins and minerals that are required by the body.
Cow’s Milk: Full of absorbable Iodine and Vitamin A which helps in better blood flow in the scalp.
Oats: Rich in potassium, magnesium and iron which helps in the growth and development of normal hair.
Orange: Full of Vitamin C which helps in the development of collagen a building block of the hair and also helps in the absorption of Iron.
Fish: A very good source of essential fatty acids and vitamin B6 and proteins. Essentials fatty acids are required for maintaining healthy nails, hair, skin.
