We all have heard the proverb” An apple in a day keeps the doctor away” and this goes to prove the benefits of having fruits each day. Our skin just like the body also needs nourishment and eating fruits is not enough to keep the skin healthy. Fruits contains several acids that when come in direct contact with the skin help to reduce several skin problems. Taking regular care that is cleaning, scrubbing, moisturizing, with the help of fruit packs is the best way to keep and maintain healthy skin. Here are some fruit packs that are easy to prepare and are very effective:

Scrubbing: It is one of the most important part of the daily skin care routine. Scrubbing cleans the dead skin cells, opens up the pores and let the skin breath freely. It also helps in better absorption of the moisturizer and also increases the blood circulation in the skin that make it look radiant. For making the scrub grate orange peel and dry it in the sun then mix one teaspoonful of oatmeal and the mix these with water. Gently scrub the face with it and wash off.

Another very helpful way is to crush the seeds of watermelon and then mix this with water to make a paste and then use it to scrub the face. Moisturising: rarely any moisturizer available in the market can provide the nutrition that a pure home made fruit mask can provide. It is cheap and highly effective.

For this mash a ripe banana and mix it with honey. Both banana and honey have proven moisturizing agents that also lightens the skin. Leave it on the skin and let it dry then wash off. Mix ripe papaya, apricot and cream and apply it all over the face. Wash off after half and hour to see the glow of the skin.
