Every morning when you wake up, your pillow tells a story. A story that your hair is falling! Hair has a normal life-cycle of growth and death or falling. It is normal that you shed some hair everyday. A hair has a life of 2-6 years; it grows at a rate of 1 cm/month during that period and after that naturally falls out. If the fall is alarming, then you must take steps. The remedy of a problem lies in the causes. If the cause of hair fall is found out, the remedy follows soon after. The cause may be genetic, as in the case of male baldness, in which hair transplant or weaving is done. It could be internal e.g. gastroenteritis, diabetes or hormonal imbalances. Thyroid malfunction and excessive secretion of androgens (male hormones) can be responsible.

However, correctional method like hormone replacement and medication can help. There may be external reasons like, dandruff and pollution which can be corrected by proper treatment and protection. Special conditions like illness, major surgery etc. infact 3-4 months after pregnancy women tend to loose lot of hair because during pregnancy the hairs which should have fallen don’t fall.

Then again occupational cause like beauty  regimes of glamour industry, viz. rollers, stylers, perms, driers cause  severe damage but can be corrected by less usage. Everyday stress also  leads to hair fall. This could be prevented by healthy diet and  lifestyle. Proper diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and milk products almonds, water atleast 8 glasses/day, cut down on tea and  coffee. Exercises keep blood circulation of scalp healthy. Yoga reduces  stress. All these practices can really do wonders to your hair fall  problem and help you become a more confident person, with a crowning glory!
