Healthy Breakfasts
Breakfast is one of the main course of diet for us today as we intake food after a long gap of at least 10 hours after dinner. It is also very important to have a fulfilling and healthy breakfast because it gives a very energetic start to the coming day full of tension and work. However important it may be but most of us are habituated to either skip it or have some junk unhealthy food in breakfast which in turn adversely affects our body.
Healthy body leads to healthy mind and that shows in our performance throughout the day. You may suffer from energy deficiency and lethargic feeling throughout the day if you do not have a very healthy start to the day. Here are some of the breakfasts that are easy to prepare and full of vital nutrients to keep you going throughout the day. They have been advised by leading nutritionist so why do not you give them a try?
Cereals:
Most popular breakfast among the working men and busy kids. There are many cereals that you can have and can also mix them according to your taste but the most common cereals are the corn flakes, wheat flakes and oats. They are full of iron, Vitamin A, D and essential nutrients. Oats is one of the best soluble fibres available today. They help to reduce cholesterol, and also help in the bowl clearing. Mostly they are taken with milk that in turn increases their nutrition value.
Bread:
Ditch the bread and butter or jam. Practically speaking butter and jam do not have much nutritional value. Why do not you try some sandwiches instead made of egg, and other fruits and vegetables as stuffing.
Fruits and Vegetable Juices:
A glass of fruit or vegetable juice is the best possible step you can take towards a healthy lifestyle. Carrots, beets, broccoli, gourd etc in vegetables and pineapples, apple, tomatoes, grapes are very tasty and nutrition rich, which not only will give you a very good start but also will improve your eyesight and reduce sugar levels and contribute towards total wellbeing.
