Home Remedies to Skin Problems
Skin, being an important organ of the body regulates the body temperature hence protecting the body against infections, germs, etc. There are various skin related problems, which are being faced by people. Here are some home remedies to these common problems.
SUNBURN: This is the most common skin problem. It leaves the skin itchy, dry and dark in shade. To cope up with this problem, apply cold water to the affected area. Then rub a soothing aloe vera ointment over it. This soothes the burnt area and helps in regaining the original skin color. Make sure to apply sunscreen lotion over exposed areas while going out in the sun.
ACNE: Increase in the amount of androgen hormone causes acne, leaving the skin blemished and patchy. Drink ample water to cope up with acne.
OILY SKIN: Your skin is probably being over-moisturizes hence causing irritation. Use an oil free cleanser and moisturizer. Use astringent regularly. You can also go for scrubs with apricot that removes extra oil from the skin leaving it smooth.
DRY SKIN: The most important remedy to dry skin is water. Wash your face as frequently as possible. Use a good moisturizer. Avoid soap as much as possible. You can also try this pack to deal with dry skin: mix 1 cup of honey and 1 cup of yoghurt. This moisturizes the skin naturally leaving it soft and supple.
DARK CIRCLES: Lack of sleep or stress causes dark circles around the eyes. Use a good dark circle remover cream or gel available in the market. Another remedy is to use cucumber slices to sooth your eyes.
These are some home remedies to common skin problems. Eat healthy for a healthy skin. Drink ample of water to hydrate your skin. Let your skin breathe by keeping it clean and healthy!
